Armor Of God To Go To Battle
Prepare For Spiritual Battle

Welcome to my blog.  I hope this blog will help you to grow in grace and knowledge of The Most High God.  The purpose  of my blog is to motivate you to acknowledge The Word of God according to Isaiah 28:10 “For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept, line upon line, line upon line, here a little and there a little”.   My intent with this blog is to help those who desire a sincere relationship with God to develop a sound understanding of his word according to the Bible.  As a Biblical and historical researcher, this blog will provide information on many different topics as it relates to the Bible, whether social, political, economic, historical, as well as spiritual.  I will show you how The Word of God is universal, where it covers all areas of our life, and speaks to every living soul upon the face of the earth.  This blog is a website that is based on Biblical research and study of The Word of God.  As I pray and ask The Most High to put his spirit upon me to allow me to share and reveal his word to you, I hope and pray the information presented will move you to submit to God and walk in Jesus’ (Yeshua) footsteps.  May the information presented bless you to draw closer to the Most High God and seek his will.  It is important to understand and realize that to study The Word of God, to learn is ongoing.  I do not consider myself a “scholar” nor will I ever be!  I am a student who will continue to learn and grow with the help of Yeshua (Jesus).  Ellen White said it best “There is no excuse for anyone in taking the position that there is no more truth to be revealed, and that all our expositions of scripture are without an error.  The fact that certain doctrines (teaching) have been held as truth for many years by our people is not proof that our ideas are infallible” (CW35.2).  She also says “We have many lessons to learn, and many, many to unlearn.  God and Heaven alone are infallible.  Those who think that they will never have to give up a cherished view, never have occasion to change an opinion, will be disappointed” (R&H July 26, 1892). According to the Apostle Paul I hope my blog will encourage you to do the following “Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that need not be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth”. 2 Timothy 2:15.

You will notice that some of the articles will mention books other than the “66” books of the bible, such as the “Apocrypha” and New Testament Apocrypha.  Desilva who is an author make it clear “The apocrypha are not a threat to faith; they are a vital witness to faith. Specifically faith of the Jews living in between the 3rd century BCE and the 1st century CE.”   Martin Luther commented on the Apocrypha to be “useful and good to read”.  According to Daniel C. Harlow PhD Professor of Religion, “The books of the Apocrypha are absolutely essential for understanding the Jews in the context of early Christianity”.   Knut Alfsvag ThD Professor of systematic theology says “The Apocrypha have been considered as a part of the biblical canon for most of the church’s history, and while the Reformers may have good reason for thinking differently, they still had high regard for them”.

This blog will sometimes use names in the Hebrew form other than Greek or English.  An example of this is Jesus in the English language. In the Hebrew the name is “Yeshua”  The name “Yeshua” appear in the Gospel of Matthew which was written two thousand years ago in Hebrew before being translated into Greek, and other languages.  The gospel of Matthew has survived in twenty-eight manuscript copied by scribes who were Jews in the middle ages.  A Hebrew word “pun” that connects the name Yeshua with the Hebrew word “Yoshia” which means “he will save”.  The full form of the name “Yeshua” appear twice in Matthew 1:21, and 1:25.  All of the names attributed to “Yeshua” speak to his messianic character.  If one would study the origin of the name you will discover the Hebrew root “Salvation”  which is a reminder to us all of his purpose for coming into the world as mentioned in Matthew 1:21.  Yeshua is the original form of the name that the Greeks translated into “Yesous” which was later translated into various dialects around the world (e.g. Hesous, Iesous in latin [The I is a consonant]and later “Jesus”). The 1611 King James bible, which I own does not have “Jesus” translated because the letter J was not around until the late 15th century.  Instead it has the name Iesous.  I’m not one to criticize anyone who use the Greek form “Jesus” because I myself use them both.  It is understandable and proper that the name “Yeshua” is translated into various languages.  I find it interesting that many people have forgotten or are totally unaware of the very name by which he was called in the first century.

One more point I want to emphasize in this blog is the name of God himself.  I try to use his proper name from time to time.  Psalms 68:4 give us the short form of God’s name as “Yah”.  Exodus 3:14 give us his full name “Ahayah ashe Ahayah”.  You will notice in some of my articles his name appearing as “Ahayah” or “The Most High” in reference to addressing “The eternal Self Existing One” according to Revelation 1:8.

The color green in the articles are in reference to that which is Holy, Righteous, and Spiritual.  The color red reference that which is sinful, wicked, evil, and an abomination against God.
